CASE Consultants were commissioned by principal contractor, Dean & Dyball Civil Engineering, to carry out the design of a number of key elements on the Design & Build contract. This included the new slipway, the pontoon guide piles, reinforced concrete foundations to the three access bridges, the rock spending beach, an extension to an existing culvert and a link bridge.
CASE Consultants also acted as CDM Co-ordinators on the project under the CDM Regulations.
Additional services included the production of Planning drawings, setting out drawings and dredging profile drawings.
CASE Consultants also carried out the design of a large temporary cofferdam, a lifting cradle for reinforcement cages and a boat lift.
