CASE Consultants were commissioned by Signpost Homes Ltd to provide Civil & Structural engineering services on the project.

The scheme involved the construction of a multi storey building supported on piled foundations which provides a 243 bed student accommodation block.

CASE Consultants carried out the design of the substructures, highways and drainage for the scheme, including Section 38 & 104 technical submissions to obtain adoption of the infrastructure.

The restricted nature of the site provided challenges during both the design and construction phases of the project, and these were exacerbated by the presence of the Network Rail main line directly adjacent to the development.
