CASE Consultants were commissioned by Midas Homes Ltd to act as Civil & Structural engineering consultants on the project.

CASE Consultants carried out the ground investigation for this attractive housing development on a steeply sloping site overlooking Paignton and then undertook the design of both piles and traditional strip footings for the house foundations. The substructure design also included, numerous retaining walls in reinforced blockwork, reinforced concrete, timber Criblock and reinforced earth.

CASE Consultants carried out the design of the adopted roads and drainage, including a large retention tank to prevent the existing drainage system from becoming overloaded in times of heavy rainfall.

CASE Consultants also prepared the design for all of the structural elements within the 120 houses on this development providing properties ranging from single bedroom units to three bedroom family dwellings.
